After moving into a heritage home in North Rothbury, we wanted to check for mould. The inspector discovered mould in the subfloor and provided a step-by-step guide for removal. He also recommended ongoing maintenance in high-risk areas, which we’ve since implemented with great results.
North Rothbury’s semi-rural environment makes pest checks a necessity. Our inspection team was professional and friendly, conducting a thorough internal and external survey. They educated us on the region’s pest risks and identified minor issues before they escalated. The follow-up report was comprehensive, and their recommendations saved us money in the long term. We suspected hidden mould after a leak in our Lochinvar bathroom. The specialist used advanced equipment to pinpoint moisture under the floor tiles, preventing a much larger problem. With clear explanations and photos, the final report gave us the confidence to proceed with repairs.
Our Abermain property inspection with Hunter Valley Pest and Building Inspections was outstanding. The inspector discovered roof problems, moisture issues in the bathroom, and evidence of termite damage in an outdoor shed. His knowledge of older Hunter Valley homes was invaluable. The report was clear, detailed, and delivered promptly. Without his advice, we could have been stuck with a costly property. Instead, we moved forward with confidence. Abermain buyers – don’t look anywhere else. Chelsea,G
